Landscaping
Question:
What's the current rule on trees? Do we have to have trees between the sidewalk and the street?
Answer:
The general rule on trees is there should be two in every homeowners front yard. Some homeowners have received a variance because their front yard is too small or the way the water line is placed in the yard prohibits planting 2 trees. As far as trees between the sidewalk and the street. The only requirement for trees between the sidewalk and the street is for those home that are on a major thoroughfare : Leafy Glen, Almond Creek, Garden Creek Way, etc. The streets that come off the main roads through the neighborhood are not required to have a tree(s) between the sidewalk and the street.
